This song features Mark Kano on vocals. Mark was the lead singer for one of my favorite bands Atheneum and I am beyond honored to have him on this tune. It also features electric guitar from Larry Chaney who is one of my favorite guitar players. He’s been Edwin McCain’s guitarist for years and I love his style.

It also features Zach Ziskin on production, mixing, mastering, guitars, & keys, Fernando Perdomo on bass and Renan Martins on drums.

And the lyric video was created by the incredible Brian Shutters who once again knocked it out of the park.

If you missed it this morning, I released a new song called “More Than Someone”. Really excited about this tune. I started recording it with Zach in Feb 2021 but I didn’t finish the lyrics until July 2021 and then we kept moving other songs ahead of it.

But it worked out that it releases today since it’s my anniversary and this is a song about how Ang and I met.

Happy to have Zach Ziskin back producing and play guitar/keys/vocals. As always, Fernando Perdomo is slapping da bass! And Spence Erickson is back on drums (he played on Who I am, as well as Different Perspective).

And finally, this video wouldn’t exist without the incredible talent that is Brian Shutters. I’m so honored to get to work with him and he makes my stuff so much better than I deserve.

TODAY IS NATIONAL ADOPTION DAY!

For those who don’t know, I was adopted by two incredible parents when I was born. My life was forever changed on that day and I am beyond grateful for the life they’ve given me. On my 2019 album “Heart of Me” I wrote a song called “I Belong” as a way to say thank you to my parents for adopting me.

To celebrate National Adoption Day, I made a lyric video for the song. Check it out! I hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone.

We are getting close to the end of recording. I need to sing 4 more songs and then we are done and on to mixing. As of now we are still on track to be ready for the online listening party on Facebook Live on Thursday Dec 14th.

This week I started releasing some teaser images for the new album on Instagram and Facebook. I thought I’d put them here as well. More to come.

Hello!

So as we are getting closer to finishing the record I’ve been trying to figure out the best way for everyone to hear the album. Since most everyone I know doesn’t all live in the same place I can’t hold an event at a venue so I thought what if we did it online?

On Thursday Dec 14th from 8-9pm, please join me on my Facebook page for an online listening party. I will be broadcasting on facebook live and we’ll listen to the album from start to finish. I’ll be online to chat and share some stories and you’ll be able to chat as well to share your feedback.

I’m really excited to share these songs with you all and I can’t wait to see what you think.

Hey everyone.

Recording of the record has begun. Guitars are done for all 10 songs and drums should be starting soon. Our original drummer Derek, who played on the last record has had some technical issues which won’t allow him to record this time around.

So instead I am excited announce that Hubert Payne will be taking over on drums. Hubert is currently the drummer for “Little Big Town” and I could not be more excited to have him on board.

Hey everyone. GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS

So I am going into the studio in the next couple of months to work on a new record. That's the good news.

The bad news is I wrote more songs than I have budget for. To try and remedy this situation, I am taking pre-orders over on Kickstarter. If I can hit my goal by July 20th, then I'll be able to add more songs to the album and hopefully won't leave any un-recorded.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to the show Friday night. It was great being back in MI and I had such a blast playing. It was awesome seeing all my family and friends who came out and an extra big thanks to Domesic Problems for having me. I've missed those guys and they crushed it as usual. That's why they are still to this day, one of my favorite bands.

I'm just getting home from playing an amazing gig with Emerson Hart. I had such a blast. The crowd was incredible. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome on stage. I didn't explain it on stage (stupid me) but a lot of the songs tonight are from my latest project called PALISADES DRIVE. Keep scrolling down to read the post on how that all came together. Thanks so much to the Broward Center for having me on the show and a huge THANK YOU to Emerson Hart for being a super nice guy. The best part is he was such a great guy and I love when people I look up too, turn out to be cool people in person.

Hey folks. Sorry for the radio silence. But Zach and I have been working on a new track and I am happy to share the album artwork for my new single called "Hey Girl". In writing this song I didn't think that it fit with the Palisades Drive sound, it sounded a little bit like my older stuff but with a current country spin so I decided to go that direction and put it out under my name this time around.

NEW PROJECT

Hey Everyone. Sorry for the silence, but I've been working on a new project. OPENING FOR PAT MCGEE

Pretty excited today to announce I'll be opening for Pat McGee at the Broward Center on Sun Jan 31st. I started listening to the Pat McGee Band probably around 1999 and even flew to North Carolina to catch a show before they released their major lable debut Shine in 2000, because I wanted to hear all the new songs before my buddies in MI. 

I did play with Pat when we did the show together at Germain Arena with Sister Hazel and O.A.R. a few years back, but really looking forward to this one.
